According to GIA, pave diamond setting is a type of bead setting where the gemstones are held in place with small beads of metal. Many small gems are held in place close together to enhance the overall shine generated by the diamonds. Over the years several types of pave have gain popularity. 1. Micro Pave This setting is for diamonds that are extremely small. These are set using very small bead like prongs. It creates a field of diamond shine. 2.
